blog challenge

  1. Hi Rachel,

I love the way you are using tools like Glogster and Prezi in your blog. They make it so interesting to visit.

    Hi Logan,

I love the way you give headings to your work, saying what challenge your post is done for. It makes it very easy for me, your Student Blogging Mentor to see that you are still taking part in the Challenge. Thank you.

I love the way you have set out this post. What is this web tool called? It is very original, visually pleasing and effective.

Ms. W has put up the new blogging challenge today. This is the second last week of the challenge. Ms. W says that when a teacher comes to the end of a topic, they often give a test, so that this week she is giving a test. Happily the test is to write the best post you possibly can. I know you are up to this challenge. The topic is animals; anything to do with animals and she gives a couple of suggestions: http://studentchallenge.edublogs.org/2015/05/10/week-9-lets-shine/ You will like that I think.

You will see on that link that she has thought about what makes a great post and has come up with the following:

    – catchy title
    – includes at least two visuals whether photo, cartoon, video or another web 2.0 tool like padlet, glogster, wordle etc
    – interesting topic with the passion of the author coming through, shows well researched topic
    – well written and not copy/pasted from somewhere else
    – shows it has been proofread and spellchecked
    – written in paragraphs – at least three of them
    – includes links to other websites on similar topics – at least two of these
    – attribution for any images, video, music or clip art used – including those used in slideshows etc.

I look forward to reading your BEST EVER post.

    With every good wish

    Merry Beau
